Stick It To The Oil Man!
Unless you ride a bike or drive a french fry grease powered
car, you know that gas prices have been on the rise
in a big way this past week. There doesn't seem to
be an end to it so be prepared to hand over more of your
hard earned cash to one of the only places where you pay
more while the service provider does less...
the self service gas station.
As people figure out ways to save a little here and
there by cutting unnecessary trips to the mall, or
combining hops in the hope of saving a few pennies,
one trip I have noticed that has been affected
is the weekly jaunt to music lessons.
Now more than ever before is it vital to make
every minute of the music lesson count. By this
I mean being prepared. Did you practice the
assignment from last week? Practice those
scales, and learn the chords?
Ok, so you are making the effort
but what do you do the rest of the week when you
are having trouble making or using a certain bar chord
and your teacher isn't right there beside you?
Simple, grab your copy of the DVD
Barre Chord Secrets Revealed
http://www.steelguitarzone.com/barre_chord_secrets.htm
pop it in to your DVD player and zip over to the
chapter that deals with the guitar chord you are working on.
I'll patiently show you
how to form the chord painlessly and even play
a song with you. In addition, each guitar chord is spelled out,
graphed and displayed in the accompanying Chord manual
so any question you might have is erased in a
matter of minutes. Even better is that it didn't cost
a penny for gas!

Most music instructors will agree that using additional
instructional material such as books, CDs and DVD's
is a good thing. Think about it, you'll practice more,
that practice time will be more fun, you will advance
by leaps and bounds and best of all won't be
lining the pockets of the greedy oil companies!
So stick it to the oil man!
