What happens when you play a country record backwards?

The truck starts, the guys wife returns and his dog comes back to life!

I know, I know, it’s an old joke but still a good one.

These days, country music is becoming more popular than rock and

mainsteam pop music. Personally I’m glad to hear it.

The songs in general have good stories that relate to just about

everyone.

For a while there in the 1980’s the steel guitar wasn’t heard all that much

but these days it’s heard all over the radio. Good thing because the pedal steel

guitar adds a whole lotta life to the songs. There’s nothing like adding

the texture of a steel guitar to bring out the best in a song.
