Secret Agent Oswald
You know, I was thinking about Bashful Brother Oswald today.
Or rather what little I know about him. He's got more names
than a CIA spy!
Some pickers know him as Bashful Brother Oswald. Others
might know him as Pete Kirby. But do you know his first name?

It seems that when he was 17 secret agent Oswald ended
up working at a radio station in Michael Moore's
hometown of Flint, MI.
Ol' Pete got around quite a bit after that traveling to Chicago,
Knoxville and eventually began performing on the
Opry stage as a member of the Crazy Tennesseans.
This was just about the time that Roy Acuff called
him up to the major leagues and the rest as they
say is history.
I am happy to have available a DVD of his music as
played by Mike Webb, Charlie Collins (who played with
Os for over 30 years) and Bev King.
